The week ahead

Monday | Our week’s live coverage begins with cricket, and updates from the final day of the latest round of County Championship matches, from 11am (all times BST). Then the focus switches to the Premier League title race with minute-by-minute coverage of Arsenal’s home match against relegated Burnley at 8pm.

Tuesday | It’s another massive night in the Premier League, and we’ll have live updates from title-chasing Manchester City’s visit to European contenders Bournemouth at 7.30pm. Then the focus switches to the other end of the table with Tottenham’s trip to Chelsea; follow our MBM report from 8.15pm.

Wednesday | England Women step up their preparations for the T20 World Cup with the first match in their series against New Zealand – we’ll have over-by-over updates from 6.30pm. Then our attention turns to men’s football, and the first European club final of the season – you can follow Freiburg v Aston Villa in the Europa League live with us from 8pm.

Friday | Our weekend football countdown liveblog will be up and running from around 9am, bringing news, previews and comment going into the Premier League finale and the playoff finals. Our attention then switches across the Atlantic to the Canadian Grand Prix, and live coverage of F1 sprint qualifying from 9.30pm.

Saturday | Our weekend’s coverage begins at 2.30pm with OBO updates from the second women’s T20 between England and New Zealand. Meanwhile, at 3pm a place in the Premier League is up for grabs – we’ll have an MBM report of the Championship playoff between Hull City and Southampton (in theory). Then attention returns to Canada with coverage of the Canadian GP sprint at 5pm and qualifying at 9pm.

Sunday | It’s a day of destiny in the Premier League and our Matchday Live blog will set the scene from around 9am. Nerves and anticipation will also swirl around fans of Stockport and Bolton as their teams meet at Wembley in the League One playoff final. We’ll have MBM coverage from 1pm. Then it’s on to the Premier League finale at 4pm: we’ll have live updates from Crystal Palace v Arsenal and Manchester City v Aston Villa at the top end, and Spurs v Everton and West Ham v Leeds as the two London rivals battle to dodge the drop. We’ll also have clockwatch updates from the other games. Then when everyone’s got their breath back it’s back over to Montreal and lap-by-lap coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix (9pm).
